Overview
The Honda Civic is one of the best selling compact cars in the United States with loads of premium features, safety tech and excellent fuel economy. Available in sedan, coupe or hatchback body styles, with numerous trim levels to choose from. The Civic is powered by one of two four-cylinder engines, a 158-hp, 2.0-liter or a 174-hp 1.5-liter turbocharged direct-injection. Both engines can be mated to either a six-speed manual transmission or Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). Trim specific standard equipment includes, 16- 17- or 18-inch aluminum wheels, LED daytime running lights, front fog lights, a power sunroof, heated front seats, automatic climate control, SiriusXM satellite radio, 8 or 10 speakers, Bluetooth, an 7-inch touchscreen display and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity. Standard safety features on the Accord include six airbags, a rear view camera, a Lane Keeping Assist System, Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS) including forward collision warning and pedestrian detection. A host of optional equipment can also be added such as a HomeLink Auto Day/Night Mirror, LED fog lights, a remote starter, sport pedals, a wing spoiler, wireless device charger and a variety of customization such as colored illumination kits, fashion accents and instrument panel colors. The Civic carries over for 2020 with minimal changes.
