Overview

Like all Sierras, the 2500HD is available in a wide array of bed sizes, wheelbases, drive types and cab sizes, as well as a variety of trim levels. The Sierra 2500HD is available as a 4x2 or 4x4 in a Regular Cab, Double Cab and Crew Cab. Several different cab and box combinations are available, the Regular Cab has an 8-foot box, the Double and Crew Cabs come with a 6.75- or 8-foot box. The Sierra 2500HD is powered by a 401-hp 6.6-liter V8 and a 445-hp 6.6-liter V8 diesel both of the engines are mated to a six- or ten-speed automatic transmission. Trim specific standard equipment includes, 17- or 18-inch aluminum wheels,LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, pickup box cargo light, air conditioning, SiriusXM satellite radio, internet radio, GMC Infotainment System, Bluetooth, 8-inch touchscreen display, 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and a remote locking tailgate. Available safety features include 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, six airbags, a rear view camera, low tire pressure warning, Teen Driver restricted driving mode, trailer sway control, stability control system, Ultrasonic Front and Rear Park Assist, Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Forward Collision Alert, Automatic Emergency Braking, Following Distance Indicator and Safety Seat Alert. Optional features that can be added include remote keyless entry and start, a remote starter, EZ Lift Power Lock and Release Tailgate, Bed View Camera, a Bose Speaker system, heated steering wheel, LED fog lights, HD Rear Vision Camera and several side assist step and tonneau cover options. The Sierra 2500HD is completely redesigned for 2020.
