Overview

The Honda Civic is one of the best selling compact cars in the United States with loads of premium features, safety tech and excellent fuel economy. Available in sedan, coupe or hatchback bodystyles, with numerous trim levels to choose from and three engine choices - a 158-hp, 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder, a 174-hp (180-hp available in hatch) 1.5-liter turbocharged, direct-injection inline-four or a 205-hp version of the 1.5-liter turbo in the Si. Non-Si trims can be mated to either a six-speed manual transmission or Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT), the Si is six-speed manual only. Standard safety features on all Civics include electronic stability and traction control, rear camera, Honda Sensing which includes Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Collision Mitigation Braking, Lane Keep Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow; hill start assist, LED daytime running lights, six airbags and tire pressure monitoring. Other available safety tech includes HondaLink emergency response system and Honda LaneWatch. Standard tech features include Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, steering wheel audio controls, automatic climate control, and ECO-Assist technology on all trims. The top-of-the-line Touring trim adds LED headlights, LED turn signal mirrors, voice activated navigation, power driver seat, rain sensing wipers, as well as heated rear seats and power passenger seat on the sedan. The Civic has been refreshed inside and out for 2019.
