Overview

The GMC Sierra 1500 offers fuel economy, capability and performance in a broad lineup that includes everything from job-ready Work Truck to the well-appointed Denali. It is available in a wide array of bed sizes, wheelbases, drive types and cab sizes, and trim levels. The Sierra 1500 is available as a 4x2 or 4x4 in a Regular Cab, Double Cab and Crew Cab. Several different cab and box combinations are available, the Regular Cab has an 8-foot box, the Double Cab comes with a 6.6-foot box while the Crew Cab gets a 5.75- or 6.6-foot box. The Sierra 1500 is powered by one of four engines, a 285-hp 4.3-liter V6, a 355-hp 5.3-liter V8 and a 420-hp 6.2-liter V8, or a 277-hp 3.0-liter V6 diesel these engines are mated to either a six- eight- or ten-speed automatic transmission. Trim specific standard equipment includes, 17- 18- or 20-inch aluminum wheels, LED daytime running lights, LED pickup box cargo light, heated leather front seats, automatic dual-zone climate control, satellite radio, Pandora internet radio, GMC Infotainment System, Bluetooth, 8-inch touchscreen display, GMC 4G LTE and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. Available safety features include 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, six airbags, Hitch View rear camera, low tire pressure warning, front and rear parking sensors, trailer sway control, GMC ProGrade Trailering System, a stability control system, Teen Driver restricted driving mode, Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert, Low Speed forward Automatic Braking, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Forward Collision Alert, Front Pedestrian Braking and Following Distance Indicator. Optional features that can be added include remote keyless entry and start, EZ Lift Power Lock and Release Tailgate, heated steering wheel, remote starter, heated second-row seats, power sunroof and several side assist step and tonneau cover options. The Sierra 1500 is completely redesigned for 2019.
