The Chevrolet Corvette is the best high-performance value in America. The Corvette delivers supercar performance for the price of a midsize luxury sedan. New for 2019 are the ZR1 coupe and convertible. Both ZR1 trims include a 755-hp supercharged V8 engine, Magnetic Ride Control, carbon fiber ground effects, and an electronic limited slip differential. The seventh-generation Corvette is a light and stiff two-seat sports car available as a targa-roof coupe or as a convertible. The coupe and convertible include a 455-hp LT1 6.2-liter direct-injection V8 engine with Active Fuel Management and variable valve timing. An optional dual-mode exhaust adds 5-horsepower. The Z06 trims include a supercharged 650-hp LT4 6.2-liter V8. The new ZR1 trims include a supercharged 755-hp LT5 6.2-liter direct/port injected V8 engine. A seven-speed manual transmission with automatic rev matching is standard and an eight-speed automatic with steering wheel paddle shifters is available on all models. Both transmissions include launch control. Standard equipment includes high-intensity xenon headlamps, LED taillamps, a configurable electronic dash, an advanced infotainment system with Chevrolet MyLink and Bose audio, and an updated fully-wrapped interior with leather seat trim. The Z51 package adds performance to the coupe and convertible with a sportier suspension, wider wheels and tires, differential and transmission coolers, high performance brakes, an electronically controlled limited-slip differential, and the dual-mode exhaust. The Grand Sport trim adds many of the same features as the Z51 package but also includes Magnetic Ride Control, rocker panel extensions, and bigger wheels and tires. Z06 and ZR1 trims move the performance level even higher. The Chevrolet Corvette is a carryover model for 2019 and adds the new ZR1 high performance trims.
