Overview

With design cues evocative of the legendary 1969 model, the Chevrolet Camaro combines the spirit of the classic American muscle car with the fuel efficiency, safety, handling, technology and build quality expected in a modern performance coupe. The Camaro is available in four trims: LT, SS, ZL1 and 1LS. The Camaro is powered by one of four engines, the 1LT, 2LT, 3LT and 1LS share the 275-hp 2.0-liter Turbocharged 4-cylinder or a 335-hp 3.6-liter V6 engine. The 1SS and 2SS both get the 445-hp 6.2-liter V8 engine while the ZL1 has a 650-hp 6.2-liter V8 engine. While the ZL1 gets a ten-speed automatic transmission all of the other trims get to choose between the six-speed manual or the eight-speed automatic. Standard equipment on all Camaros includes independent rear suspension, StabiliTrak stability control with traction control, 18-inch aluminum wheels, Teen Driver Mode, low tire pressure warning, automatic air conditioning, LED headlights and daytime running lights, rear camera, Bluetooth wireless connectivity and SiriusXM satellite radio. The 1LT, 1LS, 2LT and 3LT get 18-inch aluminum wheels, while the SS and ZL1 gain a sport suspension, Brembo brakes, 20-inch wheels and a sport suspension. Optional features include heated steering wheel, head-up display, Rear Park Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Side Blind Zone Alert with Lane Change Alert, power sunroof, performance wheels and tires, and a variety of exterior stripe packages. The available RS Package includes 20-inch aluminum wheels, a decklid mounted lip spoiler, LED tail lamps and high-intensity headlights. The Camaro adds a 3LT trim for 2019.
