Overview

The MINI E Countryman is the brand's first ever plug-in hybrid model, combining characteristic MINI driving fun and versatility with sustainable, emissions-free eDrive technology. The four-door E Countryman is available as a Cooper S ALL4 all-wheel drive variant. A 1.5-liter three-cylinder gasoline engine and a synchronous electric motor combine to generate a total system output of 221 horsepower, with an all-electric range of approximately 12 miles. A six-speed automatic transmission with driver-selectable MINI Driving Modes is standard. E Countryman equipment includes: 18-inch aluminum wheels, LED headlights and fog lights, passive entry/start, heated front seats, custom upholstery and dual-zone automatic climate control, along with HD radio, Bluetooth wireless connectivity/audio streaming, USB port and the MINI Connected infotainment system with smartphone integration and 6.5-inch central display. Safety features include anti-lock disc brakes with brake assist, electronic stability/traction control systems, rear parking sensors and a rearview camera, as well as eight airbags. The MINI E Countryman is all-new for 2018.
