Overview

The Cruze is Chevrolet's best-selling global car, offered in both roomy sedan and sporty hatchback body styles. The Cruze is available in four trim levels - L, LS, LT and Premier. Power is supplied by either a 153-hp 1.4-liter turbo four-cylinder engine, or a 137-hp 1.6-liter turbo diesel four-cylinder; available stop/start technology enhances fuel-efficiency. Both engines are mated to either a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic. Trim-dependent standard equipment includes: 17-inch aluminum wheels, fog lamps, LED daytime running lights, passive entry/start, heated front seats, leather upholstery, air conditioning, cruise control and satellite radio. Every Cruze (except L) stays connected with a Chevrolet MyLink radio, featuring a 7-inch touchscreen display, Bluetooth streaming audio, 4G and Wi-Fi hotspot capability, and smartphone integration; wireless device charging is also available. Standard safety features include anti-lock disc brakes with brake assist, stability/traction control systems, OnStar, Teen Driver Mode and a rearview camera, as well as ten airbags; other available technologies include Forward Collision Alert, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Lane Keep Assist, and Side Blind Zone Alert. The Chevrolet Cruze carries over with minimal changes for 2018. Hatchback models are now available with the 1.6-liter turbo diesel engine.
