Overview

The Chevrolet Colorado offers a variety of cab styles, suspensions and powertrains that make it both versatile and practical. The Colorado is offered in an extended cab with a 6-foot box or in a crew cab with a 5- or 6-foot box. Both cab types are available in RWD or 4x4 they are powered by one of three engines a 200-hp 2.5-liter four-cylinder, a 308-hp 3.6-liter V6 and a 181-hp 2.8-liter turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine. Three transmissions are available, a six-speed manual, six-speed automatic or an 8-speed automatic. Trim specific standard equipment include 16- or 17-inch wheels, 6 airbags, climate control, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay and rear camera. The LT, Z71 and ZR2 get an HD/Satellite radio, 4 USB ports, while the Z71 and ZR2 add heated front seats, LED daytime running lights, front fog lights and an upgrade to automatic climate control. Optional equipment includes EZ-Lift & Lower Tailgate, OnStar, Bose Premium 7-speaker audio system, remote starter, heated power mirrors, forward collision alert, lane departure warning as well as chrome bumpers and door handles. The Centennial Edition Package has chrome recovery hooks, 18-inch wheels, heated power adjustable chrome mirrors, spray-on bed liner with Heritage Themed Bowtie, chrome beltline moldings, 100-year door badges and heritage bowties. The Centennial Edition Package was added for 2018.
