The smart fortwo electric drive has all the benefits of the original fortwo but boasts zero tailpipe emissions. The smart fortwo electric drive is offered either a coupe or cabriolet; both of which are powered by a 59kw motor and 17.6kWh lithium ion battery allowing it to drive approximately 58 miles on a single charge. Trim specific standard features include power heated mirrors, LED daytime running lights, bucket front seats, automatic climate control, a 3.5-inch display screen, Bluetooth, cruise control and a low tire pressure warning system. Standard safety features include electronic stability program, anti-lock brakes with brake assist and hill hold control and eight-airbags. The 2017 smart fortwo electric drive adds more standard features including Bluetooth and a display screen.
