2017 Volvo S60 T6 R-Design Platinum 4dr All-Wheel Drive Sedan

Overview

The Volvo S60 is a sporty, dynamic sedan combining excellent performance and great design with outstanding safety features. For the 2017 model year Volvo has reduced the trims to the most popular combinations and has dropped the five- and six- cylinder engines. All trims now include a version of the Drive-E engine and 8-speed auto transmission. The S60 is available as a front-wheel or all-wheel drive T5 Dynamic, or as an all-wheel drive T6 R-Design Platinum or Polestar. Included on the T5 Dynamic is a direct-injected turbocharged 240-hp 2.0-liter Drive-E four-cylinder engine. The T6 R-Design Platinum includes a 302-hp supercharged and turbocharged version of the Drive-E four-cylinder engine. T5 and T6 powerteams include an 8-speed Geartronic automatic transmission and Start/Stop technology. The Polestar includes a new 362-hp Drive-E engine together with chassis and brake upgrades, also matched with an 8-speed auto transmission. Standard equipment includes dynamic stability traction control (DSTC) with advanced stability control, and corner traction control with torque vectoring. Safety features include City Safety, whiplash protection front headrests (WHIPS), anti-lock brakes, and six airbags. Sirius satellite radio, Volvo Sensus infotainment system, Bluetooth with audio streaming, and power moonroof are standard. Trims include standard leather upholstery or a simulated suede/leather combination. Available equipment includes a navigation system, an upgraded premium audio system, rear seat entertainment system with dual DVD players, and xenon high-intensity headlights with washers. Volvos' commitment to safety includes available features such as park assist, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, collision warning with full auto brake, driver alert, active high beam, and road sign information. The Volvo S60 sedan is a carryover for the 2017 model year with some changes to the available trims.
