Overview

The Volkswagen Golf SportWagen replaces the Jetta SportWagen as the least expensive German wagon in the North American market. The Golf SportWagen is powered a 170-hp 1.8-liter turbocharged four-cylinder gas engine mated to either a five-speed manual transmission or six-speed Tiptronic automatic. Standard safety features on all models include, anti-lock brakes, stability and traction control, head restraints at all five seating positions and six airbags. Features like heated seats, leather steering wheel and shift knob, touch-screen audio system with satellite radio, fog lights, leather seats, keyless access with push-button start, panorama power sunroof, alloy wheels and floor mats are all standard or optional throughout the trim range. For 2017, the S trim is now available with 4Motion.
