Overview

The Toyota RAV4 is one of the compact SUVs that created the class and includes many outstanding features that make it an even more useful family vehicle. New for 2017 is a Platinum trim and many standard driver assistance features. The RAV4 seats five and is a four-door, compact sport utility vehicle, now available in five trim levels: LE, XLE, SE, Limited, and new Platinum. All trims include a powerful 2.5-liter, 176-hp inline-4 and a six-speed automatic transmission. All models are available with front-wheel or full-time all-wheel drive. Standard features on all trims include adaptive cruise control, auto high-beam, an anti-theft system, and projector headlamps. Standard safety features include 8 airbags, forward collision mitigation, and lane departure intervention. Available features include 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlamps, a power liftgate, moonroof, Entune audio system, navigation, SmartKey remote, and automatic dual-zone air conditioning. The Toyota RAV4 is redesigned and updated for 2016 and includes a new SE trim.
