Overview

The Mitsubishi Outlander Sport is a mid-size crossover vehicle - perfect for those with active lifestyles. It features seating for five-passengers, ample storage, economical engine and transmission, and attractive styling. The Outlander Sport is available in ES, SE, SEL, and GT trims. ES trims are powered by a 148-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, paired with either 5-speed manual (FWD only) or a continuously variable transmission. SE, SEL and GT (AWC only) trims are powered by a 168-hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine and a continuously variable transmission. Standard equipment includes seven-airbags, vehicle stability control, anti-lock brakes with electronic brake-force distribution, brake assist, hill start assist, heated mirrors, LED tail lamps, traction control, and tire pressure monitor. For 2017, the 2.4-liter engine is no longer available on ES trim and the front-wheel drive GT trim has been dropped.
