Overview

The Honda Pilot is a powerful crossover SUV, engineered for quality and durability, as well as high levels of functionality and comfort. It features unit body construction and a fully independent suspension, designed to provide a more car-like driving experience with crisp, predictable handling and a smooth ride. The eight-passenger Pilot is available in FWD and AWD across in nine-different trims, it's powered by a 280-hp 3.5-liter V6 mated to a six- or nine-speed automatic transmission. Trim-dependent standard equipment includes: 18- or 20-inch aluminum wheels, power liftgate, power sunroof, front fog lights, LED daytime running lights, heated front seats, leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, rear climate control with separate controls, SiriusXM satellite radio, 3 USB ports, Bluetooth, an 8-inch touchscreen display and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity. Safety features found on every Pilot include 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with brake assist, a rearview camera and six airbags. The Honda Sensing suite of safety and driver assistive technologies is available dependent on trim and includes Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Road Departure Mitigation System (RDM), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC). The Pilot carries over with minimal changes for 2017 including the addition of Apple CarPlay/Android Auto Connectivity.
