Overview
The Chevrolet Corvette is the best high-performance value in America. The Corvette delivers supercar performance for the price of a midsize luxury sedan. The seventh-generation Corvette is a lighter and stiffer two-seat sports car available as a targa-roof coupe or convertible. The coupe and convertible include a 455-hp LT1 6.2-liter direct-injection V8 engine with Active Fuel Management and variable valve timing. An optional dual-mode exhaust adds 5-horsepower. The Z06 trims will include a supercharged 650-hp LT4 6.2-liter V8. A seven-speed manual transmission with automatic rev matching is standard and a new eight-speed automatic with steering wheel paddle shifters is available on all trims. Both transmissions include launch control. Standard equipment includes high-intensity xenon headlamps, LED taillamps, a configurable electronic dash, an advanced infotainment system with Chevrolet MyLink and Bose audio, and an updated fully-wrapped interior with leather seat trim. The Z51 package adds performance to the coupe and convertible with a sportier suspension, wider wheels and tires, differential and transmission coolers, high performance brakes, an electronically controlled limited-slip differential, and the dual-mode exhaust. The new Grand Sport trim adds many of the same features as the Z51 package but also includes Magnetic Ride Control, rocker panel extensions, and bigger wheels and tires. The Chevrolet Corvette is a carryover for 2017, adding a new Grand Sport trim to the lineup.
