Overview

Building on the dynamic RLX flagship, the Acura RLX Sport Hybrid adds Acura's new three-motor advanced hybrid system and exclusive electric Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD). The all-wheel drive RLX Sport Hybrid features a 3.5-liter direct fuel injected V6 engine paired to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) with built-in motor generator; combined with two rear electric motors powering the rear wheels, they produce a net system output of 377 horsepower. Standard equipment includes 19-inch noise-reducing aluminum wheels, "Jewel Eye" LED headlights, LED fog lights and a power moonroof; interior comforts include heated front seats, leather upholstery and tri-zone automatic climate control, as well as voice-activated navigation, HD/satellite radio, HandsFreeLink (Bluetooth) wireless connectivity/audio streaming, a USB port and smartphone integration. Safety features include four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with brake assist, Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) with integrated traction control, and seven airbags; a Multi-View Rear Camera, Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), Blind Spot Information (BSI) system, Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and a Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS) with heads-up warning are also standard. The Acura RLX Sport Hybrid carries over unchanged for 2017.
