The Kia Sedona is powered by a 276-hp 3.3-liter V6 mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Trim specific standard equipment includes 17- 18- or 19-inch aluminum wheels, front fog lights, power sliding side doors and liftgate, heated power folding mirrors, seating for seven (eight on the LX or EX trim), climate control with separate rear controls, satellite radio, a 4.3-inch touchscreen display, Bluetooth and UVO2 device connectivity. Safety features such as six airbags, a rear view camera, low tire pressure warning system and 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with brake assist and hill hold control are all standard. The SX trims add heated and cooled front seats, leather upholstery, 8 Infinity speakers, integrated navigation with voice activation, parking sensors and a blind spot and rear collision warning system. The Kia Sedona adds hill hold control and all trims get an increase in the touchscreen display size to 4.3-inches for 2016.
