Overview

The Forte Koup is Kia's offering in the competitive Compact market segment. Attractive styling, pricing and feature content are what make this car standout. The Forte Koup is available in front-wheel drive EX or SX trims. The EX is powered by a 173-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission (a six-speed automatic is available). The SX is powered by a 201-hp 1.6-liter turbo four-cylinder engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission (a six-speed automatic is available). Standard safety features include; traction control, stability control, four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, anti-whiplash front head restraints, overhead curtain airbags and an ignition disable system. The Forte Koup can be equipped with features such as; a power sunroof, power heated mirrors, fog lights, 18-inch alloy wheels, satellite radio, trip computer and a telescoping leather steering wheel. The Forte Koup is a carry-over with minimal changes for 2016.
