Overview

The Chrysler 200 has always been a true contender in the ultra-competitive midsize car category, offering value through a high level of standard equipment. The 200 sedan is offered in both front- and all-wheel drive configurations, with four trim levels: front-wheel drive LX, Limited, C and S trims, as well as all-wheel drive C and S trims only. Two engines supply power: a 184-hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder and a 295-hp 3.6-liter V6; both are mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission with manual mode and available shift paddles. Trim-dependent standard equipment includes: 17-inch aluminum wheels, fog lights, heated front seats, leather upholstery, automatic climate control, passive entry/start, satellite radio, Uconnect with Bluetooth wireless connectivity for phone/audio streaming, USB port, smartphone integration and a central touchscreen LCD monitor. The S trim is uniquely treated, with 18-inch aluminum wheels, gloss black grille, sport-tuned suspension, sport front bucket seats (non-heated) with unique leather-accented cloth upholstery and a leather steering wheel. Standard safety features on every 200 include electronic stability and traction control systems, anti-lock brakes with brake assist, a security alarm and eight airbags. Following a complete redesign last year, the Chrysler 200 carries over with minimal changes for 2016.
