Up front, only a small handful of styling cues differentiate the A6 Avant E-Tron concept from its sedan counterpart. Both body styles feature a body-colored insert where you'd expect to find a grille and sharp-looking headlights with Matrix LED technology that will soon be legal in the United States. It's what's beyond the front end that counts: The roof line peaks above the front passengers and gently slopes towards a spoiler mounted above a steeply-raked D-pillar. The rear end is dominated by a light bar with digital OLED elements that are customizable, a feature that illustrates an upcoming way to personalize a car. All told, the Avant's design puts a bigger emphasis on form than on function.

- What you see behind me is the all new Audi A6 Avant E-Tron Concept. We took the body of the A6 E-Tron Concept we revealed one year ago and put a cabin of a highly attractive Avant on top of it, and the result is just stunning. We have very, very good proportions. The technical layout is brilliant because we have a long wheelbase for the huge battery, huge wheels, small overhangs, and a low overall height. And this is, of course, the perfect basement for us designers.

And of course, we did some tricks. For example, this aluminum application which runs alongside the body side and it goes into the spoiler. And this makes the car visually lower than it physically is. Talking about the front end, of course, the most important thing is the inverted phase. We took our well-known singer frame, brightened it up in body color, and put it into a black mask. And this mask includes light functions, air curtains, sensors. And from 100 meters away, you can clearly see it's an Audi. And in the same time, you can see it's electric.

Another detail are the very slim headlights. And they will become the slimmest we will bring into production. And one advantage for the customer-- he can individually configure his own daytime running light signature. My favorite perspective is the rear end because this rear end shows how attractive this car is. It's 100% Audi because you can see this slim cabin, which sits on this huge shoulders. This is beautiful.

And then, of course, we have three details-- the spoiler, which is floating. This is very good for aerodynamics as well, like the rear diffuser, which also helps to bring the drag coefficient down. Then, of course, we have this huge light band, which is typical Audi. It features all that technology, also a very characterful design element. To sum it up, I would definitely say the Audi A6 Avant E-Tron Concept is a perfect combination out of functionality and beautiful aesthetics.

- In many markets, the Avant still is the customer's favorite. The technical basis of the A6 Avant E-Tron Concept is, once again, the new platform that our engineers designed exclusively for electric mobility. PPE, which stands for premium platform electric. PPE means premium technology for the drive train, suspension, and electronics, and the highest quality for the core segments within the Audi product portfolio. There will be models in the B, C, and E segments based on the PPE.

Therefore, the PPE will be the technical backbone for our new electric fleet from mid-size to the luxury class. Charging will only be a matter of minutes due to an excellent charging power of up to 270 kilowatts. We rely on 800 volt charging technology. This allows the A6 e-tron to recharge its battery from 5% to 80% in less than 25 minutes at a fast charging station. The Audi A6 E-Tron can charge its battery for a range of about 300 kilometers in just 10 minutes.

Remember, the famous slogan from 1995-- [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]. Or in English, beautiful station wagons are called Avant. It still is true, maybe now more than ever. It combines all the advantages of this body style, and it translates them into the era of electric mobility. In 2021, we showed the Audi A6 E-Tron Concept as the first member of our new electric family.

With this second Concept car on the same platform, we are giving you an impression how a future electric A6 Avant may look like. Avant-- this body style has been one of the pillars for the success of Audi for decades. What you see here is really close to what our customers will be able to order in the near future.
