Overview

The Chevrolet Colorado offers a variety of cab styles, suspensions and powertrains that make it both versatile and practical. The Colorado is offered in an extended cab with a 6-foot box or in a crew cab with a 5- or 6-foot box. Both cab types are available in RWD or 4x4 they are powered by one of three engines, a 200-hp 2.5-liter four-cylinder, a 308-hp 3.6-liter V6 or a 181-hp 2.8-liter turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine. Two transmissions are available a six-speed automatic or an eight-speed automatic. Trim specific standard equipment include 17-inch wheels, 6 airbags, climate control, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, HD/Satellite radio and rear camera. The LT, Z71 and ZR2 get 4 USB ports, while the Z71 and ZR2 add heated front seats, LED daytime running lights, front fog lights and an upgrade to automatic climate control. Trim dependent optional equipment includes EZ-Lift & Lower Tailgate, OnStar, Bose Premium 7-speaker audio system, remote starter, heated power mirrors, forward collision alert, lane departure warning and UltraSonic Rear Park Assist as well as accent lighting, chrome bumpers and door handles while some off-road features include skid plates in various locations, rocker protection, lights and a sport bar. The Colorado gets an exterior refresh and some changes to options and packages for 2021.
