Overview

The Toyota 4Runner is a sport utility vehicle that combines true off-road competence with everyday driving comfort, refinement and safety. The 4Runner is available as 4x2 and 4x4 and is powered by a 270-hp 4.0-liter V6 engine mated to a five-speed automatic transmission. Standard features include 17-inch alumuinum wheels, front fog lights, heated mirrors, heated front seats, SiriusXM satellite radio, Bluetooth, a 8-inch touchscreen display and Apple CarPlayAndroid Auto connectivity. The Limited and Nightshade trims add 20-inch alumuinum wheels, automatic ride control, cooled front seats, leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, 15 JBL GreenEdge speakers, Clari-fi digital signal processor and front and rear parking sensors. Safety features such as eight airbags, a rear view camera, Automatic High Beams (AHB), Safety Connect emergency SOS, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC), Lane Departure Assist (LDA), Toyota Safety Sense P (TSS-P), a Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection (PCS w/PD), stability control, A-TRAC traction control and 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with brake assist, hill hold and hill decent control are all standard. The 4Runner gets Apple CarPlayAndroid Auto Connectivity, a Lane Departure Assist (LDA), the Toyota Safety Sense forward collision system and a Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection (PCS w/PD) as standard on all trims for 2020.
