Overview

The Ram 1500 Classic offers bold styling with an aggressive "grille-forward" design, interiors with premium materials and innovative features, and big power from a choice of engines, making it ideal for work and play. The Ram 1500 Classic is offered with either rear-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive in a host of models and configurations. All trim levels come standard with a PentaStar 305-horsepower 3.6L V6 and 8-speed transmission. Optional across the range is the 5.7L Hemi V8, which makes 395 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. Towing capacity, when properly equipped is a stump-pulling 9,200 pounds. Trim specific standard equipment includes a spray-in bedliner, a Class IV receiver hitch, a backup camera and a Chrysler Uconnect stereo with 6-speakers, a USB port, an audio input jack and 17-inch wheels. Ram 1500s feature several standard safety features such as crumple zones and side-impact door beams, four-wheel anti-lock brakes, electronic stability control, trailer sway control and front and side-impact airbags. The Ram 1500 Classic carries over for 2020 with minimal changes.
