Overview

The Chevrolet Colorado offers a variety of cab styles, suspensions and powertrains that make it both versatile and practical. The Colorado is offered in an extended cab with a 6-foot box or in a crew cab with a 5- or 6-foot box. Both cab types are available in RWD or 4x4 they are powered by one of three engines. Three transmissions are available, a six-speed manual, six-speed automatic or an 8-speed automatic. Trim specific standard equipment include 16- or 17-inch wheels, 6 airbags, climate control, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay and rear camera. The LT, Z71 and ZR2 get an HD/Satellite radio, 4 USB ports, while the Z71 and ZR2 add heated front seats, LED daytime running lights, front fog lights and an upgrade to automatic climate control. Optional equipment includes EZ-Lift & Lower Tailgate, OnStar, Bose Premium 7-speaker audio system, remote starter, heated power mirrors, forward collision alert, lane departure warning as well as chrome bumpers and door handles. The Colorado Trail Runner Special Edition has front and mid mounted skid plates, off-road rocker protection and accent lighting. Options that are part of the Colorado ZR2 Bison Edition include AEV front and rear bumpers, front fog lamps, wheel moldings, front and rear contoured floor mats, AEV embroidered headrests, skid plates for the front, fuel tank, transfer case and rear differential and a 17-inch aluminum spare wheel. A ZR2 Dusk Special Edition gets a 17-inch gloss black aluminum wheels and spare wheel, off-road lights and off-road sport bar. The 2019 Colorado has added several new packages including the Colorado Trail Runner Special Edition, the Colorado RST Special Edition and a Colorado ZR2 Bison Edition.
