'The Grand Tour' won't do much touring this year

Clarkson, Hammond and May will be sticking in the U.K.

"The Grand Tour," Amazon Prime's car-themed show starring Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May, will film in front of a live studio audience for its second season, just as it did for the first. Except that the big ol' tent will stay put this year instead of being hauled around the world as part of the touring aspect of the show.

"Given [the hosts% sore joints, struggling lungs and combined age of 158, the studio tent has been given a new home in a charming location in the Cotswolds," according to an Amazon press release.

That might be bad news if you don't live in the U.K., since it'll obviously be much harder to secure tickets to attend if the show's filming in a country you don't live in. But if you're able and keen to attend a live filming, you have until Oct. 3 to throw your name into the big digital hat for consideration.

If you're wondering exactly where in the U.K. "The Grand Tour" will be filming, according to Business Insider it's called The Great Tew Estate. The location is said to be a scant 10 miles from Clarkson's own Diddly Squat Farm, which certainly makes for a convenient commute.
