The 2017 Audi S5 doesn't look much different than its predecessor but evolves to suit the market. That means turbos, and no manual.

Audi has redesigned its A5 and S5 Coupe, matching – or in one case – exceeding the improvements made to its counterpart, the four-door A4.

Given how attractive the new A4 sedan is, we're expecting a lot from the new A5 coupe.

The next-gen Audi S5 has now been spied testing just days after the future A5 was caught. The high-performance coupe is wearing a lot of camouflage, but gets upgrades like dual exhausts coming from at each corner at the rear.

If you want an Audi RS5 Cabriolet, get ready to pony up $77,900 for the new 2013 model. The convertible boasts a 4.2-liter V8 engine with 450 horsepower on tap as well as 317 pound-feet of torque. Mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox and quattro all wheel drive, Audi says the machine can blink to 60 miles per hour in a scant 4.9 seconds. Top speed clicks out at 174 mph.

It's hard to believe, but 2013 marks the sixth model year for the Audi S5 (it launched as a 2008 model). I've loved this coupe since the day it debuted, but if I'm honest, the thing that really made the S5 special at launch was its awesome 4.2-liter naturally aspirated V8. You know, the one from the old RS4. And the R8.

We would never kick a 450-horsepower convertible out of bed, especially one as pretty as the 2013 Audi RS5 Cabriolet. We'll admit, the chrome wheels aren't really doing it for us – we much prefer the standard alloys – but nevertheless, there's a lot to like about this topless Audi.
