2019 Lamborghini Urus First Drive Review: The prodigal son of Rambo Lambo
If you're fascinated by the absolutely bonkers, 1980s-era Lamborghini LM002 like we are, it's hard not to hope the new 2019 Lamborghini Urus is a proper sequel to the late, great, notorious sport 'ute. The new silhouette is far friendlier than the '80s-era jumble of trapezoidal planes and, more crucially, this time around motivation comes from a much more powerful twin-turbo V8, not a massive V12 as it was the wild, Countach-powered LM. So where does the Urus sit in the supercar-on-stilts spectr

Last week, Volkswagen announced its Electrify America would build EV charging stations at over 100 Walmart locations around the country, adding to our needed recharging infrastructure. Today, Target followed suit, saying it will do its own buildout, raising the number of chargers at its properties from 18 to more than 600 parking spaces over the next two years. Full-size sedans aren't exactly in great demand at the moment, and at least one of the vehicles in this comparison has been rumored to be on the endangered species list. Yet, we've just had our first drive in the 2019 Toyota Avalon, and if anything has a chance of rejuvenating the segment a bit, it's an all-new version of what has long been the segment's benchmark.
BMW to pare back presence at 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show
BMW recently announced its intention to skip next year's North American International Auto Show in Detroit, issuing a statement about re-evaluating its trade-show strategy that amounted to the age-old "It's not you, it's me." Only this time it appears to be true: Bimmer is now planning to significantly pare back its presence at the 2019 show in Frankfurt, in its own backyard.

The BMW X3 M remains an open secret — open because we know many of its details and we've seen it testing on the Nürburgring already, secret because BMW still hasn't confirmed it. What will follow, according to Spanish outlet Motor.es, is a slightly less-open secret: a Competition Package for the X3 M. Whereas the standard X3 M is expected to produce around 450 horsepower, the Competition Package would up that to 475 hp.
