A next-generation Range Rover Evoque is on its way, and Land Rover has found a unique way to tease its looks — the carmaker has created full-scale wire-frame installations in the shape of the new crossover.

The installations were done by the Evoque's design team, and they were displayed in four locations: in Kensington and Chelsea, where one might imagine seeing quite a few production Evoques, and near London landmarks.

This isn't the first time wire frames have been used to visualize the Evoque's shape. In fact, way back in 2010 when the Evoque was first shown, four artists were commissioned to do the very same outlines, and the following year Land Rover also brought wire-frame artwork to show off different customization options of the Evoque at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show.

Now that the original Evoque is — surprisingly — almost a decade old, it's time for a refresh. From the photos of the teaser frames, we can see the basic look of the model remains intact: coupe-like roof, squinty headlights, large crossover wheels and intakes. It's likely that when the second-generation model rolls around, it'll still be instantly recognizable as an Evoque. Land Rover says we'll see it on Nov. 22.
