Just as we suspected from the game's cover art, the new BMW M5 will appear in Need For Speed Payback. The new super sedan is making a virtual debut in the game at Gamescom, a video game convention in Germany. According to EA Games, this is the first car BMW has ever revealed via video game.

In addition to the reveal of the car, some key statistics were revealed. The M5 will, as expected, produce 600 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque. That power goes through an all-wheel-drive system that can be switched to rear-drive only. BMW also gives a fuel-economy estimate of 26.9 miles per gallon.

The car will be drivable in Need For Speed Payback when it hits stores on November 10. The actual car doesn't go on sale until spring 2018.
