The most-hardcore Camaro of all, the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE, finally has a price tag. The option package, which has the code A1Z, costs an extra $7,500 on top of the cost of a new ZL1. Added to the standard ZL1's base price, it totals $70,990.

That's a lot of coin for a Camaro, but you get a lot for the money. The 1LE package adds Multimatic spool valve shocks, adjustable ride height and caster at the front, and an adjustable anti-roll bar in the back. It has loads of downforce thanks to the big rear wing and front spoiler, and loads of grip thanks to the wider Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3R tires. Chevrolet claims the car is about 60 pounds lighter than a normal ZL1, too, because of light forged aluminum wheels, a fixed rear seat, and thinner rear glass. The 1LE package doesn't add anymore power, but with the above additions, it should be the fastest stock Camaro at any road course.

The package will be available this summer, as will all 2018 Camaros. You had also better be ready to shift for yourself, since the ZL1 1LE is only available with a manual transmission.
