If you have never had the opportunity to drive a Chevy SS sedan, you'll just have to take our word for it: It's great. What's not to like about a nimble, rear-wheel-drive sedan with a 415-horsepower V8 that offers lots of old-fashioned grunt? And did we mention that it's available with a six-speed manual transmission and comes standard with GM's excellent Magnetic Ride Control shocks?
Those of you who like the idea of a world-class sports sedan for less than $50,000 should know that time is running out to order an SS. According to GM Authority, Chevy is set to close the order books on its Aussie-built sedan at the end of February. If you don't have a calendar sitting in front of you, that's just 10 days from the day this was published.
Consider this your last warning. If you want an SS, close your computer screen, put your smartphone in your pocket, head to your nearest Chevrolet dealer, and place an order. Considering that it doesn't sell in high volume, you'll probably even get a good deal.
