In 2016,
Nissan introduced a trim package for the
Maxima SR that changed various details such as the mirror caps and wheels to black-painted pieces. It was called the "Midnight Package" and it ended up being really successful. The company says 85 percent of new
Maximas are ordered with it. With that kind of take rate, the company decided to offer the package on five more models.
In addition to the Maxima, the Midnight Package is now available on the Altima, Murano, Pathfinder, Rogue, and Sentra. As on the Maxima, the package provides each vehicle with wheels, mirrors, and spoilers coated in black paint. The package is also available on four different exterior colors including black, white, gray, and red.
This option group doesn't cost a set amount across the board, though. On the Sentra, you'll pay as little as $490 for the trim treatment. On the Rogue and Altima, you'll spend $990. The Pathfinder, Murano, and Maxima offer it at the highest price of $1,190. If that sounds like a worthwhile use of your cash, you won't have to wait – the package is available now.
