Wonder no more what a 100-mph R/C car looks like in ultra slo-mo video

It smashes, it crashes, it drives through a flamethrower at 1,000 FPS.

There are some activities too destructive to justify doing, as an individual, on your own – no matter how curious you are. Anything involving a Traxxas XO-1 and fire falls in that category. This 100-mph-capable R/C car retails for just under $800, so no one of average means is going to buy a couple for the express purpose of crashing them. Thankfully, there's the YouTube channel The Slow Mo Guys, and they're willing to accept the consequences of destroying these cars (likely provided by Traxxas for the promotional value) simply to satisfy our burning curiosity.

Speaking of burning, Gav and Dan were shooting the R/C cars while making a video about flamethrowers, so there's a flamethrower involved, which looks mesmerizing at 1,000 frames per second. As for the rest, it's graceful destruction, since everything looks incredible pirouetting through the air endlessly. Enjoy, and be thankful it didn't cost you upwards of $1,600 to satisfy a few seconds of morbid curiosity.
