When Elon Musk tweets, people listen. So when Musk casually announced that he was so sick of sitting traffic that he decided to start a tunnel boring company, the internet collectively took pause. Was he serious, or joking? He's serious, according to his followup tweet.
Now, it should be noted that we're still not really sure if Musk is kidding. But if he's not, his new tunneling venture, which he tweeted "shall be called The Boring Company" already has a great slogan: "Boring, it's what we do." As if to banish any further thought that he might not be serious about his new digging venture, his brief Twitter bio now reads: "Tesla, SpaceX, Tunnels (yes, tunnels) & OpenAI."
