At the PlayStation Experience conference this past weekend, Polyphony Digital showed its latest trailer for the upcoming Gran Turismo Sport racing game. From the looks of it, the game is shaping up to be a stunner in the visual department.

This time around, most of the footage highlighted time-of-day and weather effects, as well as some technologies the game supports to provide the impressive visual experience. It supports 4K resolution when using a PS4 Pro, virtual reality with the PlayStation VR headset, and high-dynamic-range rendering (HDR) on both standard and Pro PS4 consoles. The lighting effects, like the glow from head- and taillights, is especially cool.

In addition to seeing the game strut its graphical stuff, we also get a look at some of the other cars that will be featured, thanks to some new screenshots. Road-going models include the new Honda NSX and Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG, and there are full racing versions of the BMW M6 and Volkswagen Scirocco, as well as a rally variant of the Ford Focus RS. The latter features some wicked looking LED light bars mounted to the hood. Most impressive, though, are the interior details, which should be particularly cool to examine in VR. You can check out all these cars in the gallery above.
