The 2016 United States presidential election in imminent. In an effort to encourage citizens to get out and vote, Lyft is offering a single ride for 45-percent off this Tuesday, November 9, according to The Verge. Unfortunately, the discount is only available in 20 markets and the return trip will be full priced.

The rideshare company has offered similar discounts in the past, including a free ride during the last presidential election. This will be a boon to those who rely on ride-share services, taxis, or public transit to move from place to place. While Lyft is offering this discount for the election, there is nothing stopping users from using their one-way discount for whatever they want.

Uber is teaming up with Google to do something a little different for election day. On Tuesday, opening the app will provide a notification that will show you your polling location based on where you're registered to vote. No discounts here though, so maybe users can find the address in Uber and use the discount in Lyft.
