We're just over a month away from the first episode of The Grand Tour, which means the promotional efforts should kick into, ahem, top gear. And one of the first and best examples is this – Jeremy Clarkson, James May, and Richard Hammond on The Late Late Show with James Corden.

The Grand Tour Grand Racing Quiz is exactly what it sounds like. The team from The Grand Tour race while Corden administers a quiz from the passenger seat. The track? Willow Springs. The car? The new Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport. After each host sets a lap, Corden tallies up the times, subtracting one second for each wrong answer on the general knowledge quiz. How hard can it be?

Well, um, not all that difficult. The hosts do quite well on the quiz, but it's still darn funny. From Corden's facial expressions to some of the questions asked – you can almost see the fear of a BBC lawsuit spread across Clarkson's face when Corden asks if he misses Top Gear – it's an amusing segment. Frankly, we don't know why The Late Late Show producers even bothered with the terrible laugh track.

You can check out the entire eight-minute segment up top. The Grand Tour hits Amazon Prime on November 18.
