As a designer, Prommel spends a lot of time thinking about how we move through public spaces and use products in our private home. The Merge Urban Bicycle was created through a partnership between Pensa and Horse Cycles. The two teams collaborated to design a versatile and nimble bike perfectly designed for navigating busy city streets. "The name Merge came from our concept that the ultimate urban utility bike really needs to be an integration of a lot of different kinds of features into one bike," Prommel said.
Prommel is an inventor on dozens of design and utility patents. Ranging across a variety of fields, Mark's client relationships include: Pepsico, GoTenna, OneBlade, Panasonic, Chobani, OXO, Groupe SEB and McDonald's.
Prommel will join other luminaries from technology and transportation fields in Detroit on October 6th. Extra early bird tickets are still available. Remember that students and recent grads can also apply for free tickets. Check out our event page and don't forget to RSVP on Facebook as well. We hope to see you there.
