Brazilian police free Bernie Ecclestone's mother-in-law

The BBC reports that the mother-in-law of Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone was successfully freed by Brazilian police.

Just over a week ago Ecclestone's mother-in-law Aparecida Shunck was kidnapped in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The kidnappers asked a ransom of over $36.5 million, which was a record for Brazil. After police located Shuck by listening in on phone calls, they were able to infiltrate the flat to rescue her and arrest two suspects. Schunck was unharmed.

According to the BBC's reporter in Brazil, it's rare for a kidnapping in Brazil to end as well as this one did. Be sure to check out the BBC's full report for additional details.
