People love Tesla. People love Lego. Not many people love the Model X's Falcon Wing doors. But maybe if you build those doors out of Lego, they'll get some fans? That's what Tesla fan Trev Page has tried to do, and the result is actually quite educational.

Page, a Tesla Model 3 reservation holder and the guy behind the Model 3 Owners Club, according to Teslarati, uses Technic pieces and some clever building techniques for a MOC that highlights the inner workings of the complicated doors. As Tesla CEO Elon Musk himself has said, there was some, "hubris in adding far too much new technology to the Model X." We've long assumed that this refers, at least in part, to the falcon-wing doors.

Page built his MOC based not only on observation of how the doors move but also from a diagram of the technical components from the Model X Emergency Respondent's Guide. The door uses high tension springs and electronic actuators to open and close the doors with their iconic double-hinged action. But why try to describe it when we've got a Lego video that shows this all in action?
