[00:00:00] Researchers at Aalborg University in Denmark smashed drones into slabs of pork. The study is meant to examine the effects of drone propellers hitting humans. With consumer drones becoming more popular, knowing the dangers and studying the damaging effects is important. In Aalborg University's testing a catapult sends the drones into the pork at speeds of up to 33 miles per hour. Researchers point out that while their first attempts are interesting, because they show what could happen when a regular hobby drone

[00:00:30] hits a human being, it's too early to conclude anything before more testing can be done. Over time researchers plan to upgrade the catapult and test heavier drones at faster speeds. For Autoblog I'm Eddie Sabatini.
