[00:00:00] Now for off-road enthusiasts you have to check out the Ram Power Wagon. This is one of the coolest debuts at the Chicago Auto Show. What's a Power Wagon? You might want to know. So this makes the Ram 2500, that's one of the heavy duty trucks, even more off-road capable. It keeps the Hemi V8 but it does all kinds of things to the suspension to make it more capable off-road. We're talking skid plates, bigger wheels, bigger shocks, basically you could crawl up the side of a mountain with this thing if you want.

[00:00:30] Kia showed off the Niro hybrid in Chicago. This is a very significant vehicle for Kia. This is their first dedicated hybrid, and it's a compact crossover so this is a very interesting segment to launch your first dedicated hybrid in. We hear the system is gonna make 146-hp, it's a parallel hybrid setup, and it could get 50 mpg in combined driving.

Chevy unveiled the Camaro 1LE that will go on sale at the end of this year. Now, what is a Camaro 1LE?

[00:01:00] This isn't as sexy as cars like the Z28 or the ZL1. This is basically a suspension package that makes your Camaro better for the track.

Ford confirmed plans this week at the Chicago Auto Show that it will add four new nameplates to its SUV portfolio. We think one of them is going to be a Bronco, which could be an off-roader that competes with vehicles like the Jeep Wrangler. We also think Lincoln gets an SUV out of this deal. It currently has the old school Navigator at the top of its lineup and the MKX in the middle.

[00:01:30] Something could definitely fit in between. That could also mean another large Ford SUV, perhaps to replace the Flex. We also hear that Ford will add a mini utility. That would be a smaller vehicle that would compete at the bottom of its portfolio. Perhaps along the lines of the EcoSport that's sold overseas. So let the speculation begin.

Those are the highlights from the week that was. Be sure to come back this Saturday for my full recap where I'll have additional insight into the Ferrari GTC4 Lusso. For Autoblog I'm Greg Migliore.
