Volvo V90 wagon looks great in early leak

The Volvo V90 makes an official debut on February 18 in Stockholm, Sweden, but newly leaked photos can give you a great look at the upcoming wagon right now. According to Autocar, the latest images hit the Web after briefly appearing on social media. This was actually the third leak for the V90. We already saw it as a diecast model last year and checked out the back of one sitting in a garage in January.

These shots are our first truly official look at the V90, though. The wagon's styling blends the aesthetics of the S90 sedan and XC90 crossover, and all three share Volvo's Scalable Product Architecture platform. In front, this model is a dead ringer for its sedan counterpart, including the attractive Thor's Hammer headlights. However, the roof and rear have subtle cues from the fantastic Volvo Concept Estate.

We also expect the V90 to share the S90 and XC90's powertrain range. When the wagon eventually arrives in the US, that likely means the option of the turbocharged or twin-charged 2.0-liter four-cylinder and the T8 version that adds a plug-in hybrid component.

Check Autocar for the rest of the leaked images that show the V90's front, rear, and profile. Even in photos, the wagon looks like a great replacement for the aging V70, and we can't wait to hear about the official specs next week.
