Homeless man's destroyed guitar replaced by Oklahoma City police officer

A couple of cops in Oklahoma City went above and beyond for a local homeless man who lost his guitar in a crash. Sgt. Chris Eastwood and another officer arrived on the scene of an auto-pedestrian accident Wednesday night. They learned a homeless man's dog and instrument had both been harmed in the collision. The dog was okay, but the guitar was in pieces, according to KOCO.

Eastwood wanted to help the man who had so little, but just lost so much. He ran home after the investigation wrapped and grabbed his own guitar. Eastwood returned to the scene of the crash and gifted it to the man who'd just lost his instrument. As a show of gratitude, the recipient played a tune for the officers. The performance was recorded, and the Oklahoma City Police Department posted the video to their Facebook page.
