Manly men may not be the most obvious choices to make a fuss over Valentine's Day, but for four blokes from New Zealand, we have a feeling this holiday will be one of the most memorable of their lives.

You see, without letting on their real identity, Land Rover secretly purchased the 1957 Series I after seeing a heartfelt ad on the internet from childhood friends Will Radford, Jeremy Wells, Anthony Dawson and James Shatwell. Experts from the British automaker tore the Series I completely down to its bare essentials, restoring it and bringing it right back into tip-top shape. Even the battle scars, stickers and photo history of the battered and bruised machine, nicknamed 'Landy' by the boys, were replicated.

And then the real fun began. A party, national ad campaign and at least one of the boy's wives were all involved in making this Valentine's Day a never-to-be-forgotten experience. Check out the video above for the full, heartwarming tale, and feel free to click here for more from Land Rover.
