The company, which started its crowd-funding campaign December 9, has reached its $100,000 goal with one day and about $2,100 to spare, according to its Indiegogo crowd-funding page. Those funds will be put towards getting the company to move forward with its vehicle-registration process in Europe.
Beyond that, Egoista, which changed its name Predator when it started its funding campaign in December, is offering an open-wheeled kit car that folks will be able to purchase for about $20,000 in its battery-electric form (there may also be a hybrid version). Egoista says the car will be able to go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in about three seconds and will be able to go as far as 186 miles on a single charge.
