For fans of college football, a trip to an Ole Miss game is a must. That's because no one tailgates quite like Ole Miss fans, as every Saturday sees a small city pop up at The Grove. Barbecued goods and much alcohol blanket the 10-acre site, which has been named to all manner of best-of lists over the years.

With such a prestigious reputation for partying, it should be expected that even on the road, Ole Miss fans go hard. In fact, one Rebels fan partied so hard following the team's Peach Bowl walloping at the hands of TCU, that he hailed an Uber cab, passed out and proceeded to rack up a $908 fare.

While initial reports indicated that the inebriated passenger ended up traveling from Atlanta to Mississippi, College Spun reached out to Uber, which indicated that he never actually left the greater Atlanta area. So why the ridiculous fare, then? Well, aside from the incorrect address, the company's notorious surge pricing had to have played a big roll. Blame the crush of the bowl crowds for that one.

The good news for the drunk rider, at least, is that the company is working with him to reduce the overall charge. There's no word on how much of the $900-plus charge can be trimmed, though.
