Kimi Raikkonen takes on F1 veterans... on lawnmowers

Having raced in Formula One, NASCAR and the World Rally Championship, surely Kimi Raikkonen has proven by now that he can drive just about anything with wheels on any kind of surface: circuits, speedways and off-road rally stages covered in dirt, snow, gravel or tarmac. But this... this is something new.

Ahead of the British Grand Prix this past weekend, a few former grand prix drivers hopped on lawnmowers for a bit of friendly competition when who should show up but the Iceman himself. And if the rental-car scene from Days of Thunder has taught us anything, it's that racing drivers can't get behind the wheel without engaging in a little friendly competition.

We won't spoil the results for you, but with Martin Brundle, Johnny Herbert and Anthony Davidson trading mulch with the 2007 world champion (who ended up mowing the lawn in the subsequent F1 race as well), it was a close competition indeed. Watch the video below to see how it went down.
