The new Mercedes CLA-Class is still fresh on the market, but recent rumblings have indicated that Mercedes was working on a wagon variant of the car – possibly even in place of a sportier SLA Roadster. Our long-lensed spy shooters have captured our first look at the cargo-friendly CLA model, and while the image is grainy and the car's rear end is covered with camouflage, we now have a good idea of how sharp this car may look.
Just like the CLS Shooting Brake, though, we don't expect Mercedes to bring this model to the US. Between small, two-box models like the GLA-Class and maybe even the A-Class coming in the near future, this small station wagon will very likely remain a Europe-only offering. That's kind of a bummer – if its big-brother CLS Shooting Brake is any indication, it will probably be quite handsome – and more than likely, it'll offer more headroom than the very cramped rear confines of the standard CLA.
